Like many of you, we are monitoring and adapting to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the rapidly changing situation. We have been shocked by the humanitarian crisis which has been unfolding and which we wouldn’t have imagined a few weeks ago. Our first and foremost concern is that our team and their families, our friends, partners, customers, and collaborators are safe. We already sent most of our employees to work from home in February, and the remaining team - both in the Palo Alto office and the Munich office - has moved out of our facilities last week. We are expecting to be out for a while, and we have also suspended all business travel for the safety of our employees and others.
Our team has been partially distributed almost since the beginning of the company, hence the transition for us wasn’t as disruptive as it may have been for others. We are proceeding with all projects as previously planned, and we do not anticipate major disruptions on our end. As to what the future holds: We do observe though the significant impact this crisis is having on the mobility industry. While this is currently a risk for all of us, it will also be an opportunity in the future.
We wish you and your family to stay safe and healthy!
